At Psychology 4 Humans, we recognise that being human is often challenging. Our practice is founded on seeing the people we work with as humans, and not defining them by the challenges they have encountered. We also recognise the importance of psychologists allowing themselves to be human too. We are proudly affirming of diversity. We offer support across a lot of areas, including:

  • Recovery from negative experiences and the impacts of trauma

  • Challenges and barriers experienced by autistic adults and ADHDers

  • Difficulties with mood, stress and anxiety

  • Challenges and barriers experienced by sexually diverse and/or gender diverse adults

Values

  • Collaboration

You are the expert of your world. Psychologists have valuable knowledge and skill. It is by coming together as a team that we can create the best results for you.

  • Growth & Development

Growth is at the heart of life and psychology practice. Our aim is to support your personal growth and development. We are also dedicated to our own professional development to ensure we are providing the best care we possibly can.

  • Empathy & Compassion

There is great value in non-judgmental listening and understanding. It is the basis of good support for others and ourselves.

  • Affirmation

We recognise, respect and support each person’s expressions of their identity. This includes (but is by no means limited to) gender, sexuality, culture and neurodiversity.

  • Integrity

We want you to be confident that you are receiving the highest standard of support. This is why we are uncompromising with honesty, reliability, professional competence and ethical practice.

  • Strengths-Focus

Life can be difficult and that is not a reflection of any one person. Instead, we see the strength it has taken to keep things going in tough times and the courage in seeking support.
